Traditional therapy can be valuable. It often focuses on insight, diagnosis, and symptom management — typically working from the top down (thoughts, behaviors, emotions).
Integrative Coaching takes a whole-person approach. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or behaviors, we consider how your mind, body, lifestyle, relationships, and lived experiences all influence your well-being. Instead of simply talking about what’s wrong or trying to “think your way” through change, we explore what’s actually happening inside you—including what’s showing up in your body. Trauma and stress don’t live only in the mind; they’re carried in the nervous system and physical experience as well.
Integrative Coaching is:
-
Collaborative, not hierarchical
You are not a case or a diagnosis. We work side by side. Together we explore your patterns with compassion and curiosity. -
Client-directed
There’s no rigid agenda. We meet you exactly where you are and follow what’s emerging in real time. -
Experiential, not just conversational
We access emotions and patterns through body awareness and lived experience, not just discussion. -
Designed for change
Coaching is for people who are ready to move forward. The answers are not imposed from the outside; they are uncovered from within you.
Coaching vs. Consulting
At Integrated Healing, I offer a blended approach that's unique to your needs.
- Consulting is more educational and directive — for example, for healthcare provider-specific guidance, or for nutrition strategies.
- Coaching is collaborative and facilitative. You lead; I guide. Together, we uncover patterns, deepen understanding, and create meaningful shifts.
Because this work is personalized and experiential — including somatic exploration and nervous system awareness — it goes beyond what insurance-based models typically cover.
If you're unsure which approach is right for you, start with a free consultation to determine the best fit.
The goal isn’t to “just get over it.” The goal is to understand it — deeply — and create lasting change from the inside out.
